Introduction

This Privacy Notice explains in detail the types of personal data FitMAW . (also referred hereafter as ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’, ‘FitMAW’) may collect about you when you interact with us. It also explains how we’ll store and handle that data, and keep it safe, ensuring your privacy is protected at all times.

When Do We Collect Personal Data?

www.FitMAW.com (the “Site”) is owned and run by Calbern “Jason” Craigg. We believe it is important to let you know what information is collected from the Site and why, and what we do with this information.
 

At FitMAW, we collect personal information about you in order to provide a personalized experience catered to you. This also allows us to alert you to administrational, service changes, health and safety and for marketing purposes. We gather this information about you when you engage in the following ways:
 

  • You subscribe to our marketing channels

  • You sign up to competitions or special offers.

  • You interact with us online via social media, digital advertising on our or any other website where FitMAW is represented.

  • When you provide a testimonial or feedback or comment on blogs and articles that are represented by FitMAW.

  • You attend an event, where we are involved or acting as a sponsor.

  • When you contact us by any means with queries, complaints etc

  • When you contact any of the FitMAW Team and ask to email you information about one of our services or events.

  • When you choose to complete any surveys we send you.
     

When you register your personal information with FitMAW, you consent to the use of your personal data in line with this FitMAW Privacy Policy. If you are under the age of 16, you must inform a parent or guardian about our privacy policy and obtain their agreement to this privacy policy before using any of our online services, including, but not limited to, registration with FitMAW, subscribing to our newsletter or registering with us.
 

What Personal Data is Collected?

We’ll only ask for and use your personal data collected for recommending our services, content or events that may be of interest and to tailor your experience with us. Of course, it’s always your choice whether you share such details with us.

We may collect and store information which includes, but is not limited to, the following information about you:
 

  • Your personal details: Title * Your Name * Delivery & Billing Address * Phone Number * E-mail Address (Collectively ‘Your Personal Data’)

  • For your security, we’ll also keep an encrypted record of your login password if you set up an account with us.

  • Payment card information. Your card details are encrypted on our site when orders are made on line and when orders are taken over the phone we record these under the credit card provider’s handling rules. Your details are kept secure until your order has been processed and then destroyed.

  • Your comments and reviews.

  • To deliver the best possible web experience, we collect technical information about your internet connection and browser as well as the country and telephone code where your computer is located, the web pages viewed during your visit, the advertisements you clicked on, and any search terms you entered.

  • Your social media username, if you interact with us through those channels, to help us respond to your comments, questions or feedback.
     

How We Use Your Personal Data:

At FitMAW, we want to give you the best possible customer service experience. The data privacy law allows this as part of our legitimate interest in understanding our customers and providing the highest levels of service. ‘Your Personal Data’ enables us to provide the following;
 

  • To process any purchases that you make by using our website. If we don’t collect your personal data during checkout, we won’t be able to process your order and comply with our legal obligations.

  • For example, your details need to be used by Stripe to process your purchases, and we need to keep your details for a reasonable period afterwards in order to fulfil any contractual obligations such as refunds and exchanges.

  • A personalised service from us at FitMAW which targets information, services, content and offers relevant to you.

  • To alert you to any administrational, membership, content or service changes

  • For Marketing purposes such as competitions, promotions, or marketing events, etc.

  • To respond to your queries, refund requests and complaints. Handling the information, you sent enables us to respond. We may also keep a record of these to inform any future communication with us and to demonstrate how we communicated with you throughout. We do this on the basis of our contractual obligations to you, our legal obligations and our legitimate interests in providing you with the best service and understanding how we can improve our service based on your experience.

  • To process payments and to prevent fraudulent transactions.

  • With your consent, we will use your personal data, preferences and details of your transactions to keep you informed by email, web, text and telephone with relevant information including events, socials, fitness holidays, competitions, current news, fitness information, tips and workouts and so on. Of course, you are free to opt out of hearing from us by any of these channels at any time.

  • To send you communications required by law or which are necessary to inform you about our changes to the services we provide you. For example, updates to this Privacy Notice and legally required information relating to your purchases. These service messages will not include any promotional content and do not require prior consent when sent by email or text message. If we do not use your personal data for these purposes, we would be unable to comply with our legal obligations.

  • To develop, test and improve the systems and services we provide to you. We’ll do this on the basis of our legitimate business interests.

  • To comply with our contractual or legal obligations to share data with law enforcement.
     

In the event you do not wish for us to use ‘Your Personal Data’ for marketing purposes,
please either:
 

  • Click on the ‘Unsubscribe’ link in the emails we have sent you (if any).

  • Contact the FitMAW team via emailing support@fitmawteam.com  requesting that you wish to be removed from our marketing database.

  • Use the option within your account to unsubscribe yourself from our messages
     

We will never collect personal data about you without your explicit consent. We will retain the data until the time at which you decide to ‘unsubscribe’ (as above). FitMAW will also conduct an annual review of all data held by the company and will remove any data no longer needed. You can check the information that we hold about you by e-mailing us at support@fitmawteam.com.

We will provide this information within 30 calendar days of receipt of the information request. If you find any inaccuracies, we will delete or correct it promptly. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.

FitMAW will neither sell your personal data to third parties nor market it elsewhere. The employees of FitMAW. are duty-bound to respect the confidentiality of your data. If you wish to discuss the personal data we hold about you or make a complaint, please contact support@fitmawteam.com in the first instance in order that we can investigate thoroughly.
 

How Long Will We Keep Your Personal Data?

We take appropriate measures to ensure that any personal data is kept secure and is kept for only so long as is necessary for the purpose for which it is used. If your personal details change or if you have any queries about how we use your personal data, please notify the FitMAW staff by emailing to support@fitmawteam.com
 

What Information is automatically Recorded?

When you access the FitMAW website, general non-personal information (Internet browser used, number of visits, average time spent on site, pages viewed) is recorded automatically (not as part of website maintenance). This information is used to gauge our website’s appeal and to improve its content and functionality. Your data is not processed any further nor is it transmitted to any third parties.
 


Our Security Policy

To process any purchases online, we need your credit / debit card number and expiry date, plus any security details that the credit card processor may require. FitMAW employs trusted and reputable third-party hosting agents and payment providers to ensure the security of personal data. All credit card details that are given to us by you the customer are done so on a secure server using Stripe. The transfer of the purchase details to a third party merchant account and are encapsulated using their encrypted and digitally-signed protocol. This uses a combination of standard methods to ensure that the information passed is secure and tamper-proof. Please note, we do not store any financial information from you.

Controlling your personal information
 

What You Can Expect From Us: We will always comply with the standards, procedures, and requirements of EU data protection laws to ensure that the personal information you give us is kept appropriately secure and processed fairly and lawfully. In order to process your order and deliver your purchases to you, we may have to pass your information to some of our service providers. This includes the companies who handle our order dispatch service and our delivery company. We will only provide these companies with the information which they need to carry out their jobs. They will only be allowed to use your information in the way in which we tell them, and they will not be entitled to use it in their own right. We may on occasion notify you by email about changes to our terms and conditions, or other important changes to our website or our service. In assessing your request for goods or services, we may use your information for the purposes of the prevention and detection of fraud. We may disclose your address and postcode details to check against any other Fraud Prevention Scheme. If you believe your details are incorrect you may correct those details by following the procedure below. Access personal data

Request correction of the personal data that we hold about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate data we hold about you corrected, though we may need to verify the accuracy of the new data you provide to us.

Request erasure of your personal data. This enables you to ask us to delete or remove personal data where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it. You also have the right to ask us to delete or remove your personal data where you have successfully exercised your right to object to processing (see below), where we may have processed your information unlawfully or where we are required to erase your personal data to comply with local law. Object to processing of your personal data where we are relying on a legitimate interest (or those of a third party) and there is something about your particular situation which makes you want to object to processing on this ground as you feel it impacts on your fundamental rights and freedoms. You also have the right to object where we are processing your personal data for direct marketing purposes. Restrict processing of personal data

Request restriction of processing of your personal data. This enables you to ask us to suspend the processing of your personal data in the following scenarios:
(a) if you want us to establish the data's accuracy;
(b) where our use of the data is unlawful but you do not want us to erase it;
(c) where you need us to hold the data even if we no longer require it as you need it to establish, exercise or defend legal claims; or
